Great location, nice beer garden right on the Main, nice host.

Very nice place for vacation or just for a little brake. The food is always fresh cooked and the prices reasonable.

Very friendly and courteous hosts, cozy beer garden with delicious food (e.g. Schäufele), hotel very clean, great location, bike garage is awesome ... We would come again!

We stayed in the hotel for one night. Yes, the location on the Main is really nice. But. . . The train runs regularly on the other bank and the main road is on the other side of the hotel. So quite loud. From the beer garden you can hear the operation for a long time and due to the gastronomy there was a constant smell of chips in the room until the beer garden closed. In the evening the beer garden was really full, so we couldn't find a place to eat. Basically the room was spacious, but unfortunately not as clean as in some other hotels. The shower in the bathroom was leaking, the bathroom was half under water. The bathroom only has a sliding door - so you should really like yourself. The beds were good. With breakfast it is in itself a good solution due to the current restrictions. Unfortunately, the rolls were baked too long and therefore hard. When we left, the card was swiped without any problems. Unfortunately, no questions asked how we liked it and whether everything was okay. All in all, not worth 95 euros / B&B for me. A real shame.

An inn to feel good. My wife and I go to Sommerhausen several times a year, a visit to the anchor is always part of the program. Delicious food at reasonable prices. A wonderful location right on the Main. Even when there is a lot of activity, the owner is always in a good mood.

Everything is fine despite Corona restrictions, which apply everywhere and for which the hosts are not responsible. The location on the Main is really excellent and the hospitality was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were 6 cyclists.

Beautiful view of the Main, within walking distance of the authentic half-timbered town of Sommerhausen, room very clean, good bed and shower and good breakfast with freshly baked bread rolls served by cheerful host.

I was here in the self-service beer garden with my girlfriend. After the schnitzel with french fries was still not ready after 40 minutes, I asked friendly. Unfortunately, I was informed very rudely that I can see what's going on here and that everything would be processed in the order in which it was installed. Which wasn't the case because then it turned out that we were simply forgotten. Mistakes happen, no issue! Dealing with the criticism is one more thing. Very unprofessional. At least the fries were delicious, said my friend 😂

Currently "only" snack bar open - but this invites you to linger right on the Main. A good selection of dishes is available for a "snack". Price absolutely within the framework & pleasant hospitality.

Great ambience, beautiful view, delicious food and cool beer - everything you could want. Well-run family business with a heart and courteous service. It's a pleasure.

Rustic restaurant with two terraces overlooking the Main. Very popular with cyclists. For motorists there is a parking lot nearby. At present, asparagus is offered. I recommend the Sauerbraten with dark sauce and very tasty dumplings with red cabbage. It should be the best Sauerbraten far and wide. And the cook does not promise too much. It was totally delicious.
